Hustle is a British Television Drama Series made by Kudos Film and Television for BBC One in the United Kingdom. It was created by Tony Jordan and first broadcasted in the UK in 2004 (24 February).

On October 24th 2005 the "BBC Worldwide Americas and American Movie Classics (AMC) announced a major licensing and co-production deal for Hustle. The deal granted AMC exclusive rights for the first and second series of Hustle as well as a co-production partnership for series three and four." (Source)

After series four finished broadcasting in 2007 on AMC that was the last of the series to air in America. Meanwhile in the UK the BBC continued to commission new seasons of Hustle.

5 years later we are finally getting series 5 -8.

It was announced by HDNET (on Dec 28, 2011 on their facebook page) that they were bringing the hit British Drama Series  "Hustle" (back) to the US. Also mentioned was that they are airing Series 4-8 of Hustle. (This was also confirmed via DM on twitter) Due to the previous Series (1-3) only being available in Standard Definition fans will have to catch up by purchasing DVDs.  Series 4 is currently airing on HDNET on Monday’s at 10pm ET. Region One (U.S) DVDs are available for Series 1-4. Which can be purchased from BBC America, Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc.

In the past NJN has aired Series 1-4 of Hustle. But nothing is scheduled at the moment.

It was announced in 2011 that Series 8 would be the last, with the UK premiere date 13th of January 2012.
