17th February Hustle Trends on Twitter [PHOTO]

****EDIT****

The last ever episode of Hustle airs this Friday 17th February on BBC One at 9pm. To give a great send off to the cast and crew (and to express our thanks for 8 great years) lets try and get Hustle trending on twitter. Please pass this on to your friends!

To do so tweet with the hashtag #Hustle. I will be posting the results from my poll "The Best of Hustle" this Thursday giving fans the opportunity [if they want to participate ] to rewatch the voted episodes and interact with other fans via twitter for the rewatch.

I also encourage others to post their favorite episodes on twitter, favorite quotes, favorite cons, favorite marks etc. Post what you'll miss the most after Hustle ends and give thanks to the cast and crew. Be sure to add #Hustle in all your tweets!

You can also tweet to cast members @AdrianLester, @MsJaimeMurray, @matt_diangelo , @marc_warren_ and @AshleyWalters82

For a list of more cast members visit my Hustle Cast List on twitter.

"Twitter users now send more than 95 million Tweets a day, on just about every topic imaginable. We track the volume of terms mentioned on Twitter on an ongoing basis. Topics break into the Trends list when the volume of Tweets about that topic at a given moment dramatically increases."

For more information on trending read twitters post about trending topics and what are hashtags.

Hustle Series 8 Episode 6
Friday 17 February
9.00-10.00pm on BBC ONE

Mickey’s found the ultimate mark in multi-millionaire businessman Madani Wasem (played by Abhin Galeya), who is ripe for a stock market scam. The stakes are higher than usual as Wasem is extremely dangerous and the kind of mark they usually avoid.
Mickey has his own reasons for taking the risk - he’s tired of grifting and is ready for retirement. The others are shocked but the prospect of a £10million jackpot is too good to turn down.

There is a surprise in store when Wasem’s broker turns out to be Stacie Monroe (played by Jaime Murray). She’s a useful insider but, when Wasem instructs his enforcer to kill Mickey after the deal is done, the very real prospect of death looms large over the gang.

It’s the end of the road for Mickey and the gang but will they go out in a shower of money or a hail of bullets?
Mickey is played by Adrian Lester, Albert by Robert Vaughn, Ash by Robert Glenister, Sean by Matt Di Angelo, Emma by Kelly Adams, Stacie by Jaime Murray and Wasem by Abhin Galeya.

ElizabethWhat a brilliant finale to Hustle and great to see old friends. This has been fantastic from series one to the end and I cannot believe it is the end. All the stars have been great, but Adrian Lester was fantastic. Will miss this programme. Thanks for the wonderful entertainment Hustle has brought us.

Paul BI am so sad that such an excellent series has come to an end. I guess it happens to all good things but still the feeling of loss is great. From the first series with the wonderful Marc Warren & Jaime Murray, to the final season, with their replacements, the very fine Kelly Adams and Matt di Angelo, I loved every episode.

The writing was superb, never once taking itself seriously, always slick and thoroughly well conceived. If Hustle was paying homage to the Sting or the Grifters it surpassed that with season one and set it's own benchmark year after year. Production values were as good as anything the BBC has ever produced. It was never low brow, though never treated its viewers as idiots but was very much aimed at the average joe. Breaking the golden rule of never speaking directly to the camera/viewer it brought the viewer into the scams and on the side of our heroes. Usually that would become tedious but here it is deftly done and never failed to to raise a smile.

Lester, Glenister and Vaughan are the backbone of the series and never ever put a foot wrong. Kelly Adams was a great Murray replacement, gorgeous, smart and talented, while Matt Di Angelo performed admirably as the typical cheeky londoner Warren replacement.

I doubt we'll see anything quite so good all round entertainment for some time to come.

EricHustle is one show that other channels can only watch on the sideline with envy and what does BBC do? Ditch it. Get a grip on what your audience want!

mariai normally don`t comment on series etc... but this one i have to...its cruel to end a serie like hustle !!! the only serie that has no explicit sex contents, not much violence, guns or blood or sloppy love stories, it was so refreshing to watch ! at the same time showing the streets and buildings of london BRILLIANT, PURE GENIUS !! (feels like i was walking with the crew down the streets)
scenarios playing tricks on my mind and make me crave for the next episode...
i was not afraid to watch it around my children as we will try to guess details of the con-scenarios etc...
not to forget those fantastic actors Lester, glenister, vaughan, kelly, matt, murray, warren, without them im not sure it would have been the same...
please kudos bring it back !!! i fell in love with hustle...
